What your event facilty/venue may require
Many event locations today require event hosts to show proof of event liability insurance (in the form of a piece of paper known as a Certificate of Insurance) to them. In addition, you may also be required to add the facility/venue to the required liability insurance policy as an insured also known as an Additional Insured.

What about Additional Insureds?
The practice of a facility/venue requiring that they be named as an Additional Insured on a $1,000,000 General Liability insurance policy by all persons or entities renting or using the site, is quite common. When you purchase the policy online you will have the option to name venues as additional insureds beyond the honoree(s) at no extra cost. Even after you have purchased your policy you can sign in and edit your policy or add additional insureds.
